Wow, I guess you’re a Facebook friend, not sure, but I was really inspired by what you presented on the chat today. I consider, having done some research, that I myself have the gift of synesthesia. In other words the different senses for me visual, kinesthetic, sound and rhythm, can merge and intermingle for me contemplatively, and I can also then relate them through my writing, poetic, artistic, and musical creativity. So, I’m reading your post on “The Sound of the Planet” because I still have a lot to learn about what I experience. I wouldn’t share this with most of the people that I know except those in the Naturally Conscious Community.
I’ve just seen your comment. Yes, we are Facebook friends.
Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I am not sure whether I know what the experience of synesthesia is but I am reminded of an experience I had in the forest. It was dark and I was sitting on the porch of the cabin, when I reached out to my beloved trees and boulder that are around the cabin. Each one showed up for me as various colors and textures, tastes and smells. Here is my description of the main ones (which will be in the upcoming Tree Love books):
Heart’s Content: a soft mauve-rose, tasting and smelling like a chewy creamy sweet candy from childhood memory long forgotten.
The Golden One: a bright yellow-gold.
Sugmad: a deep brown shadow, barely visible.
Transcendence: tall ribbon-like strands like a water fountain or silvery tinsel brightly lit with multi-colored pastel lights glinting through it.
Boulder: white with silver threads woven through it.
Kindliness and Patience: deep warm pink to brown, smelling of kindness.
Father-Mentor: a mahogany-brown, textured more like long muscles than wood grain with deep yellow infused through it.
Womanly-Mother: creamy white with an aura of very light pink, like some tulips I’ve seen.
As for the Sound of the Planet, I have found that everything has its own frequency or chord of frequencies, like a sound not heard with the ears. For me it is more kinesthetic, like a feel/hear. A soul, an emotion, a memory, a personality, a state of consciousness, each can be invoked by attuning to their frequency. I use a muscle testing system I developed to locate and lock onto the frequency. (See my workshop, Accessing the Inner Master.)
